Housing: – The teddy bear hamster must be kept in such a cage in which the air flows optimally. The cage should very light and should be very easy in cleaning. It should be large around of 2/3 story cage  along with the shredded wood shavings and 1 more house along with the nesting materials on them. Put some of the water, food, wheel, bedding, water bottle, hideout, food dish, and the chewable toys which are safe. Always remember 1 thing in mind that most of the human foods are very harmful to the Teddy bear hamster but foods like grains, seeds, vegetables and fruits. If anyone have more than 1 hamster please don’t keep them overcrowded in the cage, because these animals don’t like living in pairs. They keep on fighting till death.

Diet: – The Teddy bear hamster diet should be consisting of fruits, grains and vegetables. They should be given food daily but before that remove all the leftovers of the previous day. Also provide them fresh water. Also give them something for chewing which keeps them in shape and maintaining their health.

Cleaning : – Clean the cage of the hamster twice in a week. During cleaning the cage, make use of warm water and the solvent which is non-toxic cleaner, rinse and then dry it. The accessories are also included in the cage. Don’t take them to bath unnecessarily due to which they can get cold.
